This was no attempt at humor. And I said his REMARK was asinine and short-sighted. Don't twist my words around. If michah6vs8 feels any level of consternation based on my post, think about how I have felt when someone has ridiculed me when I simply want to share something new I've worked on and that I am excited about, like my essay on why the matrix sound structure is a reflection of the Four Winds; or my FB page that is strangely discordant with the number of Likes that the GD FB page has received; or my post regarding some cosmological significance to the fact that there is a Miller/Seamons Rd. intersection in Rock Island, Tennessee; or just my simple YouTube post of "Babe, It Ain't No Lie" with a matrix soundtrack last week, whereupon I am called a "self-important asshole" and am accused of boasting more than ever?

Can't I share my work and ideas here like anybody else without being shot down? I should have that right like anybody else. The hatefulness that has been expressed toward me is just as cruel as if I went to an outdoor screening of Hitchcock's "39 Steps" in New York, only for someone to intentionally spill a glass of wine on my wife, and then for others to mockingly take pictures of us and want to lynch me and hang me from the highest tree. But in spite of these few hateful people, I know the rest of the people here have more kindness in their hearts than that. Sometimes you get a few bad apples, but I will learn to love these people.........sorry, I'm starting to cry right now because of how horrible such things are to happen to me - but I will persevere - "I will get by" - with courage...and love. Goodnight.

Can I buy us all some ice cream now?
I mean, this was the last show I was to see until the following spring.
I learned a lot about myself on this tour – thanks for the ride Micah.

Sounds like a plan, Dan, and Rocky Road seems an appropriate choice for this journey - a little (marsh)mellow and plenty of nuts.

:-)

Ice cream? We get ice cream after this? Damn--Dire never followed through after a blowup with this sorta thing; that mangy excuse for a mutt,...oh, I don't even know why I bother; he's not gonna show, eh? Insults, attacks--even compliments fail to bring him out of hiding these days.

Good night, Rob.

Yeah, we miss the Wolf don't we?

Hang in there man. The list of posters I'm willing to spend my precious time reading has dwindled. I always thought that would be result of posts getting too facebooky, but the truth is the humorless/windbag to intelligent/funny ratio is all jacked up.

So, I take it that you're more of an Early Era Forum Thread guy ...

Neither humor nor paranoia. It's merely an attempt at a matrix of a forum thread. This thread had insufficient crowd noise, so Hunter generated some.

At least, that's my theory, and I'm sticking with it ...

Well, someone else showed late to the "party" besides me, huh?!

Hmmm, I am just not on top of this any more...curious--were you around when the PM biz was going on? If you don't know that I mean by that, don't sweat it...I am getting damn old, damn fast, and this place is just one more indication of that truth.

Late? Hey, it's not even 8 a.m. Doing my morning reading here. What's up in current events ... hmmm, Maria files for divorce, Strauss-Kahn is back in the running for President of France, and 7/1/85 either does or does not have too much bass. (Easy answer: There is never such a thing as too much bass.)

I caught the I'm-quitting-as-PM hullaballoo. I assume there was some kind of history to the PM thing, but sorry, I missed that!

This truism, ie, about bass, is one reason I love CREAM. But, I won't blather on about that...for now. And yes, I know it's bright and early for you, and late, very late for Rob, but that's about as much as I know on such matters, other than SDH is sweaty, very sweaty right now--and for no real reason other than it's what we "do" out West nowadays.

Probably Al Gore's fault for discovering global warming.

Maybe my post will be removed for not using "perspiration"?

Yeah, I'd probably like Cream. I mean, CREAM. Not really familiar with them. Sorry, I know that's sacrilege. (But ya know how it is with us young'uns :-) )

Hereabouts it's hot and wet, so we live in front of the fan, which can run because it's raining. Very basic equation: Snowmelt (heat) plus monsoon (wet squared) equals electricity. Not many tourists, except for Indians, who come to escape the heat. That goes in the "everything is relative" category. Kinda like "Best Crypticals of '85."
